Rule #1: Respect content ownership
Don’t post others’ non-commercial content without a reasonable belief they would be okay with it
Don’t post commercial content without permission or a copyright exemption
Don’t post content with authorship marks removed, unless you have permission
Don’t post content identified in the Do-Not-Post list

Uploading AI upscaled versions of art without permission
Rule #2: Tag images appropriately
Don’t apply tags to an image unless their definition, or common sense meaning if there isn’t one, matches what’s in the image
Don’t remove such tags
Don’t change tags set by site staff, or important tags such as authorship or rating, without extra diligence
Examples
Tagging your upload tagme
Tagging an explicit image as safe
Not tagging anthro on an image containing an anthropomorphic character
Removing a tag set by site staff
Removing the artist:xyz tag from an image you didn’t create
Rule #3: Only post artwork appropriate for the site's subject
Don’t post images where no part is related to the site’s subject
Don’t post images with minimal artistic effort and meaning
Don’t post images where minimal alterations have been made to make something related to the site’s subject
Examples
Posting abstract art when the site is focused on a specific fandom
Posting photographs of real-life objects unrelated to the site’s theme
Posting unrelated memes with a small amount of alterations and no artistic effort
Rule #4: Use filters to hide content you don't wish to see
Don’t post comments complaining about an image’s subject matter (filters can help)
Don’t vote on images based on filterable characteristics
Don’t accuse others of rule-breaking (report instead)
Filter content which you cannot legally view
Examples
Commenting “I hate anthro”
Commenting “This is disgusting” on images you could have filtered out
Commenting about content breaking the rules instead of reporting it
Downvoting every image from a certain artist because you dislike the artist
Rule #5: Keep content legal
Don’t post real-life pornography of underage people or sexual acts with animals, or anything not readily distinguishable from it
Don’t post defamation or libel
Don’t incite violence against people, or dehumanize them
Don’t call for oppression of people by their characteristics (such as race, sex, sexuality, or cultural/national/religious background)
Don’t post extremist content or symbols in any way that promotes them
Examples
Uploading an illegal photograph
Uploading art depicting a realistic human-like underage character in a sexual scenario
Uploading content that defames a real person
Uploading content that promotes hate groups or extremist ideologies, such as Nazi symbolism
Rule #6: Do not abuse site functionality
Don’t use multiple accounts to evade punishments or to pretend to be two different people in the same discussion
Don’t impersonate others
Don’t upload many images in a short time unless they are meaningfully distinct parts of an image set
Don’t create multiple comments/posts in a row when you can edit instead
Don’t post comments or thread replies unrelated to the subject
Don’t post unsolicited advertisement
Examples
Using an alt account while your main account is banned
Uploading an image just to say “Remember to stay hydrated”
Commenting “nice” on an image without any other content
Posting links to other websites without context or permission
Posting a comment about politics on an image unrelated to politics
Rule #7: Spoiler content which cannot be filtered
Respect the sexual rating of where you post. Forum threads’ are assumed to be within SFW ratings unless specified otherwise
Within text posts, use the ||spoiler syntax|| to spoiler above-rating or potentially-seizure-inducing content that built-in site functionality cannot automatically filter
Parts of your profile that cannot use spoiler syntax, such as username and avatar, must be within SFW ratings and not contain flickering animations which may induce seizures
Examples
Posting explicit content in a general discussion topic
Writing an above-rating description on an image without spoiler tags
Using porn as your avatar
Rule #8: Respect privacy
Do not reveal any personal information about artists or other users without consent
If you are aware of an artist or a user using multiple aliases to separate their work, do not reveal this information publicly without their consent
Examples
Commenting “Oh I know this artist, it’s X!” on an image tagged “anonymous artist”
Disclosing someone’s real name, address, or other personal information without their consent
Rule #9: Advertise commissions in good faith
All commissions must contain only the artwork created by the person advertising the commission
You may not advertise a commission on behalf of another person
Site staff are not responsible for any commission arrangements or outcomes based on commission advertisements

Posing other people’s art as your own in a commission advertisement
Advertising a commission for another artist without their permission
Misrepresenting your commission terms
